Dear participants of the Hacker Test and those who are
interested in your website promotion!
I'm sure many of those who have already passed the test would like
to have another try with new questions, of course. And here's my suggestion.
Why don't you think of your own question to be listed under numbers
from 4 to 22 similar to those you've cracked in this test?
What do I gain from that?
First of all, this Hacker Test page is visited by count of users
incessantly. You won't believe it, but quite a number of them are really
persistent and could spend up to 7 hours of their time trying to solve
it!
Just imagine that your question's got a link to your website underneath.
You could bet your boots that your link will be noticed and remembered!
And if your question is a sixty-four-dollar one, the users would like
to visit your site just to “repay you”. ;-)
And here's a list of my recommendations to the new question format.
A question should be logical.
Examples: 1 and 2 (for the pages #1 and #2), two and three
(for the pages #2 and #3)
A question shouldn't be too complicated to solve
and/or from some very specific area of knowledge. This test isn't for
headache, remember?
As for the question complexity, it could be discussed in each
particular case; maybe a hint should be added.
Please provide the keys (the correct answers) and short
explanations to the questions. And it would be really great
if you send a link to the related subject.
All comments you sent will be hidden! So don't be
at a loss!
Be careful with the questions of similar type, e.g.
word translations.
And again, this test isn't for geniuses, it's for all to have fun.
So try to find the golden mean, just imagine how much
time it would take you to solve it.
For instance, question #21 is a perfect example of such difficult
AND at the same time easy question.
About formulas. Any mathematic formula is a simple
question to suggest but... is it really so interesting to crack? Anyway,
you may have a try and I'll accept it.
It's highly recommended that you provide your email address.
There could be some issues to discuss in private. I'm doing my best
to answer everyone.
Be aware that some questions you proposed had already been
suggested by someone else before. If you didn't find them
on the website it doesn't mean they are not there (e.g. not added to
the database yet or even blocked for showing up in the test).
Links to websites with pornographic content are obviously declined
for publishing. Sorry. :))
If you don't have a website to promote, it doesn't mean you can't
send your questions. We can talk it over any time.
So, after your question is approved for publishing, it'll look
like this:
Whatever the case, to publish your question and link to the website,
I'll need to know:
Your unique user name or nick — up to 20 symbols.
Gender — it is enough 1 symbol. ;)
Your contact e-mail (it doesn't appear anywhere on the website and
is used just for possible details discussion).
A link to your website — up to 50 symbols.
Your website full title — up to 25 symbols.
The website short description (it'll appear in a yellow hint when
pointing at the website link) &mdash 150 symbols.
See, it's easy: your question — my advertising at a quite popular
website.
If you have new questions to include, you are welcome to send them!
